ABOUT US

Nice to meet you!

Thank you for visiting our website! We are in our final year of high school in Edinburgh and decided to research the effects of lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health.

We focus on the impacts of changes in exercise and changes in social interaction on our minds- these 2 aspects of our lives changed massively when restrictions were introduced, and are known to cause certain changes in the brain. These scientific effects can make us feel different so with this website, we aim to inform people about the science behind how they feel during these hard times.

We hope this information can help keep us all healthy and informed. If you are worried about your mental health, please talk to a trusted adult or make use of these resources dedicated to helping us look after our minds.
